Roberta
Mae Langley, 62, passed from this life Friday September 29, 2017 in
Sherman, Texas.
Roberta was born November 24, 1954 to Robert Lee and
Juanita Pearl (Quaid) Hinds in Chama, New Mexico and she was one of
twelve children.
Roberta
met James during high school and has been together for the last 42
years. Together they raised five children: Leslie, Crystal, Michael,
Shawnna and Kristi. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking for her family and
friends, playing and spending time with her grandchildren, especially
River. Roberta never met a stranger and always had something to say. She
will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her.
Roberta
was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bill Hinds and Harley
Hinds; sisters: Pearl Hinds and Nomi Hammons; one grandson: Tye Langley.
She is
survived by her husband: James Langley of Hugo, Oklahoma; children:
Leslie Noel and husband Lanny of Antlers, Crystal Cross and husband
Robert of Atoka, Oklahoma, Michael Langley of Stillwater, Shawnna
Langley of SW City, Missouri and Kristi Rankin of Antlers; brothers: Bob
Hinds and wife Francis of Ocean Spring, Mississippi, Benton Hinds and
wife Rose of Casper, Wyoming, Buck Hinds and wife Jay of Hugo, Oklahoma,
Timmothy Hinds of Clayton, Nebraska; sisters: Marcia Self and husband
Johnny of Cloudy, Oklahoma, Wanda Bell of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sandy Hinds
of Hugo, Oklahoma, Shelly Young of Pickens, Oklahoma, Glenda Pavia and
husband Mike of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren: Whitney Noel,
Tiffaney Noel, Courtney Aldana, Mallory Langley, Rance Langley, Raven
Lewis and Trinity Lewis; great-grandchild: River Noel; along with other
relatives and friends.
