Pauline Knight Carr, a former longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2007 in Okmulgee at the age of 88 years.
The daughter of the late Pleasant G. Knight and Nellie Mae Harden Knight, Pauline was born on December 20, 1918 in Welling, OK. She was reared and educated in Tahlequah, graduating from Tahlequah High School.
She was united in marriage to Loy Carr on September 11, 1958 in Arkansas. The couple came to Cushing at that time. Loy preceded her in death on July 28, 1991.
Pauline enjoyed oil painting, ceramics and raising cattle.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by two brothers, Ishmael Knight and Boyd Knight.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Tahlequah City Cemetery, Tahlequah.
