Lynn Bennett Brown, 80, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on May 5, 2015.

The funeral service was held on Friday May 8, at First United Methodist Church in Morrison, Oklahoma.

A military graveside service followed in Follett, Texas. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Lynn was born on January 3, 1935 in Vici, Oklahoma to Emery and Ruth Brown.

He graduated from Follett High School and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University.

On March 31, 1961 he married Barbra Bell in Follett, Texas. Their marriage has been blessed by the Lord for the past 54 years.

Lynn joins in heaven his parents, Emery and Ruth; and brothers, Wayne and Ivan Brown.

He is survived by his wife Barbra; daughter, Dawnda Bradley; sons, Brac and Bret Brown; son-in-law, David Bradley; daughter-in-laws, Rhonda Brown and Kim Brown; 8 granddaughters; and 6 grandsons.

Lynn continued to beat his family at pitch and root for his home town at sporting activities. He will be missed by many.
