Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater, OK. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK. Freddy was born on June 4, 1948 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Lorenzo and Victoria [Tiner] Jones. He grew up in Stillwater and Claremore area. He attended Rogers State University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Science. Freddy served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. Freddy married Gayle Allison in 1987 at the Stillwater Medical Center Chapel where Gayle worked at the time. He worked as a D.J. at Kush Radio for a number of years. Freddy served as the Chief of Police in Agra, Oklahoma before retiring. He was a member of the VFW in Cushing. Freddy was Baptist by faith. He liked riding motor cycles, watching TV, and most of all spending time with Chris, Jennifer, his grandchildren and family. Freddy is survived by his wife Gayle, one son: Chris Jones and wife Malisa of Agra, two daughters: Jennifer Howard and husband Jason of Parkland, Christina Pate Jones of Alabama, one brother: Frank Jones and wife Vicki of Stillwater, two sisters: Karen Black of Tulsa, Sandy Stewart and husband Ed of Stillwater, nine grandchildren: Aspen Howard, Brandon Howard, Payton Jones, Maurice Jones, Sierra Jones, Caleb Jones, and Marissa Jones, two great grandchildren. Freddy is preceded in death by his parents, one son: Freddy Ray Jones Jr. |
