Marie Ellen Davie passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at her home in Duncan. She was born on December 30, 1942, in Clarksburg, Missouri, to Charles Earl and Dica L. Keller.
Plans are being made for a private family memorial service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Marie attended Clarksburg public schools. She and Joseph Harold Davie were joined in marriage on July 9, 1961, in Memphis, Tennessee. To their marriage five children were born - Eugenia, Charles, Michael, Pamela and April. Joseph preceded her in death in 1990.
She loved growing vegetable gardens and cooking. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, reading mysteries, and watching television crime shows and Hallmark love stories. Most of all, she loved and helped all of her grandkids.
Marie is survived by her five children, Eugenia and husband James Weaver of Norman, Charles Davie of Sand Springs, Michael and wife Debra Davie of Norman, Pamela and husband Kevin Moore of Norman, and April Sevier of Duncan; eight grandchildren, Jamie Weaver, Jessica Weaver, Jasmine Sevier, April Sevier, Jackson Moore, Marshall Sevier Jr., Tiffany Davie, and Jessie Davie; and special friend, Mary Craft of Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harold Davie; son-in-law, Marshall Sevier Sr., who died on November 23, 2017; five brothers; and four sisters.
