Jones resident Larry Duane Smith, 61, died Friday,
Dec. 3, in Jones.
He was born May 27, 1943, in San Diego, Calif., to George Thomas Smith and
Jessie Louise Sims Smith.
He lived in Ohio before moving to Davis, where he graduated from Davis High
School. After graduation, he lived in Shawnee, Oklahoma City and the Jones
area.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, David Leger; and sister
Pam Goddard.
Surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Gene Reed, Shawnee,
Linda and Jerry Meyer of Okmulgee and Shari and Craig Morgan, Tacoma, Wash.;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Gale and Jody Smith of Lee's Summitt, Mo., Jeff
and Peggy Leger, Oklahoma City, and Russell Leger of Oklahoma City;
stepfather, Albert Leger and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Chapel in Davis with the Rev.
James Densman officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in
Davis under the direction of Fox Funeral Home, Davis.
