Virginia "Gin" Fox, 72, of Shady Point, died Sunday, March 11, 2001 in Tahlequah.

She was born Feb. 5, 1929 to Richard and Viola (Lovell) Watts in Walls. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She married her husband of 52 years, Myrle "Sonny" Fox May 5, 1948 in Van Buren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, R. V. Watts; two sisters, Katherine Watts Moore and Una Maye Watts; and a grandson, Peyton Levi Farrar.
 
Survivors include her husband; three daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma and Butch Morgan of Fort Gibson, Medenna and Michael Walton of Ardmore, Redenna and Randy Farrar of Shady Point; four sisters, Ina Fern Doyle of Sand Springs, Dollie Underwood of Spiro, Angella Faye Bryant of Dallas, and Mary Ann Mangrum of Tulsa; two brothers, Arnol V. Watts of Cameron and Jesse Ray Watts of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Krystal and Randy Cox of Checotah, Deallen Walton of Ardmore, Miranda Barcheers of Shady Point, and Brett and Ryan Farrar of Shady Point; two great-grandchildren, Randy Wayne Cox and Rayne Cox, both of Checotah; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
 
Services will be at 2 pm Thursday, March 15 at First Assembly of God Church in Panama with the Revs. Willis Watts and Jimmy D. Cook officiating.
 
Burial will follow at Watts Family Cemetery in Shady Point under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
