1. Any landmark submitted must be a place that something significant happened or a place a historical person has lived.
2. The place submitted must be recognized on the National Register of Historic Landmarks, or theOklahoma Historical Society. Places recognized by municipal or county historical societies may also be considered. This list might also be helpful.
3. You must own the copy rights to any photos that are submitted. (Your copy rights to the photo will be retained when you submit.)
4. All information about historical places must be in your own words. Absolutely no copying from any other published works.
