The funeral for Celeste, 39, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Grayson Missionary Baptist Church in Enid. The Rev. Norris Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bishop Northside Chapel, Tulsa. Funeral home visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 26, at Grayson Missionary Baptist Church.
Celeste was born Dec. 27, 1967, in Enid, OK to Edisal and Esterlene Fuston and died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in a motor vehicle accident.
She graduated from Enid High School and relocated to Los Angeles, Calif., where she attended El Camino College and graduated from ‘The Urban League of Promising Young Adults’ and eventually was promoted to assistant youth director.
After returning to Enid, Celeste continued to work with the youth at NORCE and most recently at L.E. Rader Center in Sand Springs.
Surviving are four children, Renata 13, Raeshaan 12, Xavier 7, and Henry 5; mother, Esterlene Sanders of Enid; brother, Tyrone Sanders of Enid; aunts, Debra Fuston of Austin, Texas, Louvenia House of Crescent, OK, and Gloria Jean Ross of Enid; uncle, Donald Gene Fuston of Enid; and great-aunt, Arzella Wilson, also of Enid; and a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
