This is a relatively small cemetery that was used when there was a Baptist Church west of the location.
There are possibly two unknown graves of Smith family members that appear to have been removed or moved. There were headstones found over the fence, in a condition that suggests they were disposed of.
Mr. Leo Gartrell is the record keeper of this cemetery. In the spring of 1996, Mr. Gartrell was preparing to repaint the existing overhead gate sign. He had driven by early one morning and everything was as it should be and when he returned a few hours later, there was a brand new metal sign over the gate!
A neighbor, Mr. Norman Thomas had grandsons in the Ft. Supply FAA program. Apparently these boys and the Ft. Supply School program were responsible for this 1project.
