Graveside services for Wilson "Pete" Williams, Jr. a longtime Coalgate resident, were held Monday, August 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Cemetery with arrangements under the directions of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.
"Pete" was born August 2,1922 at Centrahoma, OK to Wilson Williams,Sr. and Fern Baker Williams and passed away July 31, 2008 at Coalgate at the age of 85. He atttended Centrahoma School, was a carpenter and farmer adn married Wilma Lee Pulliam. She preceded him in death on March 6, 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Williams adn wife Edna (deceased) of Glendale, AZ, and Jerry Williams and wife Rosemary of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren, Rochelle Williams Jennings, Holly Williams Yates, Anthony L. Williams and Cory A. William; five great grandchildren, Chelsea Savannah Jennings, Emily Nicole Jennings, Garvin William Yates, Abigail Rose Yates and Jessica Sue Yates; four sisters, Bernice, Opal, Betty Mae and Tammy Kay; and two brothers, Maurice and Billy Gene. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one son, Anthony Gene Williams; one granddaughter, Julie Ann Williams; five sisters, Vera, Christine, Helen, Loretta, adn Jackie and two brothers, J.W. and W.C.
