December 16, 2015Submitted by: Jan Grooms Helen Sue Turner, daughter of Jidy and Bernice (DeLay) Miller, was born on July 9, 1941 in Phoenix, Arizona and passed from this life on Thursday, December 10, 2015 in Bunch, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 1 day.
Sue, as she was known by all who were blessed to have her in their lives, was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Her career was taking care of her loved ones and providing a warm, loving home for them. She had a wonderful smile that would warm your heart and a caring soul.
Helen was a member of Barber Baptist Church and loved spending time with her church family. She will be deeply missed.
Her parents, daughter: Tammy Ritchie, three brothers, an infant brother and a son-in-law: Buddy Rider preceded her in death.
Those remaining behind to keep her memory alive include her husband: Carl Turner, of the home in Bunch, OK, children: Carla Rider Nofire and husband Phillip of Bunch, David Turner of the home, grandchildren: Rachelle Marquez and husband Oscar of Bella Vista, AR, Gina Ritchie of Stilwell, OK, Salisa Gaches and husband Buddy of Welling, OK, Andy Rider and wife Jennifer of Welling, Jackie Duncan and husband Clint of Stilwell, Jordan"Hooley" Turner and wife Lora of Stilwell,Tandy Ritchie of Stilwell, great grandchildren: Chance, Hannah and Kynlee Gaches, Kobe and Jakob Rider, Sydra, Jaelyn and Payton Turner, Aubrey Roberts,Avery Marquez, LeAndra Blackbird, Avery and Chloe Duncan, sister: Barbara Hooper and husband O.D. of Bunch and many other friends and extended family.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Charles Duvall officiating. Interment followed at Hungry Mountain Cemetery, Bunch, OK
