Steven Lee Sessums was born on April 28, 1981 in Paris, Texas to Stevey Lynn and Rebecca (Kenney) Sessums and passed from this life on March 24, 2014 in Bryan County, Oklahoma at the age of 32 years, 10 months and 24 days.
Steven moved to Bryan County two years ago from Paris and worked in the construction industry. He attended Victory Life Church in Durant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, going to church and he dearly loved his family and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his grandmother Shirley Sessums and great grandmother Bertha Mae Moree.
Steven is survived by his parents Stevey and Rebecca Sessums of the home; brother Brandon Sessums of Mead, OK; grandfather Lee Sessums of Paris, TX; grandmother Barbara Kenney of Paris, TX; nephew Skylar Sessums of Mead, OK and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Steven's life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 31st at Victory Life Church in Durant. Pastor Joey McWilliams will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery with Gary Sessums, Jeff Sessums, Terry Sessums, Ricky Sessums, DJ Robinson and Jeremy Whitson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6-8 P.M. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
