Albert "Al the Muffin Man" Magby, 84, of Colbert passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 in Durant.

Albert was born July 6, 1929 in Bagwell, Texas to John David Magby Sr. and Martha Ann Bass Magby. He was one of nine children.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged.

He married Ella Graves in Carson City, Nevada on May 9, 1964.

He was known in the Durant, Denison, and Sherman from selling muffins and breakfast foods.

Albert was a deacon of New Hope Assembly of God Church, he loved his Lord and family above all else and enjoyed watching western movies.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ella in June of 2010, two daughters, Joann Courson and Vicki Wing and eight brothers and sisters.

Albert is survived by his six sons, Richard Viloria of San Diego, California, Johnny Viloria of San Diego, California, Bobby Viloria of Merced, California, Jeff Viloria of Sadler, Texas, Albert Magby, Jr. of Durant, Oklahoma and David Magby and special friend Duwayne Wingfield, two daughters, Karon Hoopes and husband Jerry of Merced, California and Lori Magby of Colbert, Oklahoma and sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Lloyd Lee, Ron Bates, and Billy Davenport officiating.

Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery with J.D. Richardson, Luther Stephens, Nicky Rowlands, Tracy Bevill, Eddie Stephens and Anthony Flemming serving as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Pettit, Randy Watkins and William Watkins.

Family hour will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Brown's Funeral Service Durant.
