Julia Lambert, a beloved family member, and resident of Durant, Oklahoma joined her Savior on Monday April 03, 2017 at the age of 60 years 4 months and 14 days. She was born on November 20, 1956 in Durant, Oklahoma to James E. and Edith H. (Ainsworth) Lambert.
Julia was employed by the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas for 35 years as a lab tech, she was recently employed by Alorica in Durant, Oklahoma. Julia loved her cats, flowers, working on her computer, traveling and especially shopping.
Ms. Lambert is survived by her brother, Gene Lambert and wife Charyon of Durant, Oklahoma; nephews, James Lambert of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Shawn Lambert of Mountainair, New Mexico; nieces, Brenda Lavota of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Debbie Garduno of Grants, New Mexico, Vickey Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico and LeAnn Lambert of Denison, Texas; she is also survived by other relatives and friends in Oklahoma.
Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edith Lambert; and brothers, Tim and Jim Lambert.
Family hour will be from 7-8:00 PM Thursday April 6th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service will be at 10:00 AM Friday April 7th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Pastor Jesse West and Tommy Green officiating. The Pallbearers will be Jason Hughes, Chris Tucker, Charley Howe, Huey Powell, Bobby Russell, Travis Hicks and Grady Ford. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma.
