Services for Dovie Savannah Green Ingram, 78, of Durant, Oklahoma who passed away Friday, September 3, 2010, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010, at the Grace Baptist Church in Durant.
Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Lynn Henery, Randell Wayne Henery, Raymond Gillaspy, Vernon Musgrove, Barry Don Springs, Mark Edward Green and Larry Sexton.
Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery also in Durant. Family hour will be from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home.
She passed away Friday, September 3, 2010, in Durant, Oklahoma, at the age of 78 years, 10 months, and 7 days. She was born October 26, 1931, in Foreman, Arkansas to Uless Virgle and Eva Dawson Green.
Dovie married Roy Lee Ingram on January 13, 1951, in Paris, Texas. They were married for 49 years.
She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Dovie loved camping, her family and being with her grandchildren.
She was a nurse for over 40 years and a home child care provider for 15 years.
She is survived by her sons, Phil Thomas Ingram and wife Mary Anne Davis of Mead, Oklahoma and Roy Joseph Ingram and wife Tonya of Durant, Oklahoma, daughters, Betty Lou Henery of Wilson, Oklahoma and Brenda Lou Perkins and husband Allen of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, brothers, William Virgil Green and wife Patsy of Paris, Texas, Paul Edward Green and wife Margaret Ann of Powderly, Texas and Benjamin Franklin Green and wife Sharon of Sumner, Texas, sister, Geneva Lois Morton of Paris, Texas, eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Dovie was preceded in death by her parents, Uless Green and Eva Albney; stepfather, Thomas Abney; husband, Roy Ingram and four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
