Madison Cemetery

Location: S7-T2-R28

To get to this cemetery go 2 miles north from Slapout, east one mile, then north ¼ mile. The cemetery is to the east on top of the hill. The gate is at the northwest corner. The Madison cemetery was one of the early cemeteries in this part of Beaver County. The oldest grave date is 1865. In 1922 the president of Madison Cemetery was J. A. Yates, sec. was James W. O’Neal, and treas. John W. Taft. In the year of 1949 a new fence, a gate, and a sign was put at the entrance.
