Stella Cemetery is located in Section 30 Township 27N Range 10W in Alfalfa County. Stella is 3 miles north of Cherokee on State Highway 64 to the intersection of State Highways 58 and 11, then 2 1/2 miles east on State Highway 11.
The following used with permission, Cherokee Strip Volunteer League, "Alfalfa County Oklahoma Cemeteries": The trustees of Stella Friends Academy and Church Association in Cherokee, Woods County, Oklahoma Territory, started the cemetery to be used by the public. People around Ingersoll and Cherokee used the cemetery. Cherokee was west then but later was moved to the south of Stella. The cemetery was platted in a survey but never recorded.
