Junea Watt or Jay as he would have
people call him was born March 7, 1953 in Tahlequah Oklahoma to Janana and
Noname Watt. He grew up in the small town of Westville Ok.
He had
attended and graduated from Westville Public School in 1971, and continued his
education for a short time at Northeastern University in Tahlequah.
Jay
worked as a Machinist at Baldor starting in December of 1988 and was able to
retire in May of 2014.
On July
20, 1974 Jay was able to marry the love of his life Starla Reeves. They had two
sons Jeffrey and Jesse and a daughter Kayla which they raised in Westville as
well. After Jay retired from Baldor he enjoyed being outside doing yard work and
watching his grandkids and 4 great grandkids play when they came along.
If he
couldn't be outside you'd find him inside watching basketball, football, NASCAR,
drag racing, and occasionally whatever his grand babies talked him into
watching.
Jay was
called home to be with lord on January 2, 2021.
He was
preceded in Death by his parents Noname and Janana Watt, brothers Delano and
Michael sisters Carrie Jean and Carolyn his wife Starla Watt and daughter in law
Cheryl Watt.
Jay is
survived by many. His sister Georgia Mauldin of Lost City; son Jeffrey
Watt of Westville; son Jesse Watt and wife Sandra Watt of Westville; daughter
Kayla Watt of Westville; grandchildren, Violet Watt of Westville, Mark and
Vanessa Rider of Westville, Taylor Thomas and Jonathan Thomas both of Siloam
Springs, Jasper Jordan and Haiden Jordan both of Westville, 4 great
grandchildren and many Nieces, Nephews and other family members and friends that
loved him dearly.
A
Celebration of Junea's life will be on Friday January 8, 2021 at Robert's
funeral home in Westville lead by Darrell Lacie. Visitation will be the Thursday
before from 2-6. His Burial will be at Old Green Cemetery along with a last
handshake.
