Interment: Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 - Fairlawn Cemetery

Arthur Grace, 68 year old former Fort Supply resident, died August 19, 2015 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 22, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Fort Supply with Reverend Todd White officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Arthur Lee Grace was born in Laverne, Oklahoma, on December 7, 1946, to Arthur “Hoot” and Rose Grace. He was a quiet and private man who was kind and had a gentle nature. He worked at Western State Hospital for many years and after retiring moved to Oklahoma City where he made his home. Three years ago he underwent major heart surgery. He was then moved to Marshfield, Missouri, to be near his sister, Jean Grisham, who cared for him for a year. His desire was to return to his home in Oklahoma City, so Jean and her husband, Lynn, moved him back there a year later where he remained with his two dogs, Baby and Bridgette. On July 27, 2015, he was found unconscious in his bedroom and it was determined he had suffered a severe stroke. He never regained consciousness and passed away August 19, 2015.

Arthur is survived by his sisters, Jean Grisham of Marshfield, Missouri, Crystal Hayes of Woodward; nieces Teresa Lancaster of Fargo, Tammy Cameron of Springfield, Missouri, Brenda Gaston of Frisco, Texas; one nephew, Wayne Hayes of Woodward; their spouses and children and grandchildren, and his good friend, Terry Gayler, plus many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur “Hoot” and Rose Grace.
