Woodward : Graveside services for Leon Cooper, 83, will be at 11:30 AM Monday in the Vonton Cemetery near Woodward. The Rev. Cliff Roberts, pastor of the Elm Street Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Home, Woodward.
He was born July 26, 1900, and made his home in Laverne and later Woodward.
He died Friday, January 27, 1984 after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of the home; his daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Colleen) Hoosier, Woodward; three granddaughters; four great – grandchildren.
