Adeline Eaves, 71 year old Foss resident and former Woodward resident, passed on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 19, 2020 in the Bible Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Prairie View Cemetery, with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Adeline Sue (Pummel) Eaves was born on August 8, 1949 in Woodward, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Clyde Wayne and Evelyn Virginia (Payne) Pummel. Adeline was reared in Woodward, attended Woodward schools and graduated from Woodward High School. Adeline was united in marriage to Larry C. Eaves on July 12, 1989 and the couple made their home in Woodward. Adeline worked at various places, but was mostly known for working as a waitress at the WayFair Inn. After her retirement she and Larry moved to Foss Lake.
Adeline was a devoted mother to her children, she even served as a Den Mother in her son’s Boy Scout Troop. She enjoyed playing Christmas Bingo, finding bargains at thrift stores, baking, reading, camping, fishing, but most of all she loved her family, and friends.
Adeline is survived by her husband Larry of the home; son, Lance Nutter and wife Jan of Woodward; daughter, Lachele Simpson and husband Sam of Woodward; sister, Waynona Covalt and husband Delbert, brother, Gary Pummel and wife Arleta all of Woodward; three grandchildren, Tyson Simpson and wife Mercedes; Kyrie Chandler and husband KD; and Blake Nutter; three great-grandchildren, Preston Simpson; Kolt Don Chandler; and a great-grandson on the way in March; sister-in-law, Karla Pummel; special sister, Gayle Noreuil; brother-in-law, Wayne Campbell and wife Nina; many nieces, nephews other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Veetrice Campbell; Marilyn Ball; brother, Eldon Pummel; brothers-in-law, Ray Watson; and John Ball.
Adeline was a fun loving, joke telling, God fearing, prankster that will be greatly missed.
