Interment: Wednesday, December 17th, 2014 - Prairieview Cemetery

Earl Digman, 70 year old Woodward resident, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at his home in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Russell Judd officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie View Cemetery, south of Woodward.

Earl Dean Digman was born on June 26, 1944 in Fairmont, Minnesota to Milo Frank and Freida Mae (Pettit) Digman. Earl attended grade school in Haysville, Kansas and graduated from Campus High School in Haysville, Kansas. Earl was united in marriage to Nancy Ellen DeVore at the First Christian Church in Haysville, Kansas. Earl and Nancy made their home in Pratt, Kansas. Earl worked at Boeing for a short time, he then began working as a Butcher. Earl and Nancy lived in Alva and Wichita before they purchased the Meat Locker in Freedom, Oklahoma. Earl owned and operated his business until he was no longer able to work and he and Nancy moved to Woodward in 2002.

Earl spent his free time fishing, hunting, and golfing or just piddling outside. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Digman of the home; two daughters, Sandy Lynn Pierce and husband Collin of Waynoka; Christina McKnight of Waynoka; two sons, Richard Digman and wife Sheila of Woodward, Allan Scott Digman and wife Dani of Woodward; 16 grandchildren, Barbara and Levi Hughes; Misty and Shawn Russell, Andrew and Shelby Reid, Shelby Reid; April and Chantry Hair, Mitchell Digman; Blaze Digman; Mason Digman; Tristan Digman; Ariana Digman, Riveraton, Digman; Vickie Isaskson; Jacoby Newman; Cheyanne Pierce; Ariel Pierce; John Pierce; eight great-grandchildren, Clara Hughes; Nathanal Reid; Jacob Gassett; Missie Rose Hair; KC Hair; Shawn Russell, Jr.; Jay Lynn Russell; and Ryken Russell; two sisters, Sharon Snow and husband Harold of Madison, Kansas; Mary Judd and husband Russ of Eureka, Kansas; many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, Donavan Digman; one great-grandchild, Kamberlin Reid.
