Jeanetta Webb, 77 year old Sharon resident, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at her home in Sharon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Sharon. Burial will follow in the North Persimmon Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Jeanetta Lois (Halley) Webb, daughter of Glenwood and Zelma (Randolph) Halley was born on February 18, 1944 in Mooreland, Oklahoma. Jeanetta attended many schools up until the 7th grade as her family moved around a lot with her father who was a worker in the oilfield. When Jeanetta was around age 12, her family moved to Sharon, Oklahoma where she finished out junior high and high school. She graduated from Sharon High School in 1962.
On October 13, 1962 Jeanetta Lois Halley and Darrell Benton Webb were united in marriage at the Bible Baptist Church in Woodward, Oklahoma. Two children were then born, Marsha Renea (Webb) Brink and Gina Leann (Webb) Smith. Jeanetta was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sharon where she served for many years as an energetic Sunday School teacher. Jeanetta found great joy in ministering to little kids. Jeanetta was also a member of the Homemakers Club.
Jeanetta was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and watching her grandkids in whatever they were doing.
Jeanetta found occupations at the Little Drug, was a stay at home mom, and Walmart. Jeanetta retired from Walmart in 2004 after working there for 21 years. She also took care of the ranch while Darrell was on the road. Jeanetta loved working in the yard, sewing, cooking, and watching and playing sports when she was able. Her family brought her the most enjoyment.
Jeanetta is preceded in death by her mother and father Glenwood and Zelma Halley, one daughter, Marsha Brink, one infant brother, Jimmie Dale, four infant sisters, Glenda Day, Dana Cheryl, Edna Elaine, and Glendein Lucille. She is survived by her husband Darrell Webb of Sharon; daughter Gina Smith of Sharon; granddaughter, Leslie Smith of Sharon; one grandson Nate Meharg and wife Heather of Oklahoma City; two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Liam Meharg of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Duke Halley and wife Charlene of Oklahoma City and Glen Halley and wife Pam of Oklahoma City; along with several nieces and nephews and with many other relatives and cherished friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
