Beverly Ludwyck, 73 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Mooreland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Renew Fellowship Church in Mooreland. Burial will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Beverly Ann (Murray) Ludwyck was born on March 22, 1948 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Joseph Jeremiah and Corena Rosena Murray. Since Beverly’s dad worked for the railroad the family moved a lot including, Canadian, Texas, Higgins, Texas, Dumas, Texas, Amarillo, Texas, Borger, Texas, Skellytown, Texas, Waynoka, Buffalo, and Mooreland. Beverly graduated from Mooreland High School and later graduated from Beauty School. She was united in marriage to Phillip Guy Ludwyck at the First Assembly of God Church in Mooreland, Oklahoma. They made their home in Mooreland and have lived there since that time.
She was a long time member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was a cosmetologist at the Cameo Beauty Shop, The Beauty Box and at Mooreland Heritage Manor. Later in life she worked as a sales associate at Walmart until she retired at the age of 65. She loved going to church, singing with the Voices of Praise and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband Phillip Guy Ludwyck, Sr. of Mooreland; one son, Phillip Guy Ludwyck, Jr and wife Jama of Stillwater; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Phillips of Mooreland, Melissa Dawn Jackson and husband Clifford of Elk City; seven grandchildren: Michalia McDonald and husband Kyler, Keanan Jackson, Austin Ludwyck and wife Kendra, Chelsea Phillips, Brianna Jackson, Trevor Ludwyck and wife Amy, Kaitlyn Phillips; three great-grandchildren, Elliana Ludwyck, Ellerie Ludwyck, and Baker McDonald; one sister Shirley Bartel and husband Gerald of Quanah, Texas; other relatives and friends.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Corena Murray, brothers, Bob Murray, Forest Murray, and Barney Murray, sister Wynona Bartow, infant sister, Lodena Murray and great-granddaughter Eleanor Ludwyck.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made the Mooreland Renew Fellowship in memory of Beverly Ludwyck with the funeral accepting the contributions.
