Jimmie Lehman, 66 year old Mooreland resident died Monday, February 26, 2024 in Mooreland. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church in Mooreland. Interment took place in the Mooreland Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Jimmie Scott Lehman was born on March 20, 1957 in Mooreland, Oklahoma the son of Willie William and Letha Ereline (Black) Lehman. Jimmie grew up in Mooreland, attended Mooreland schools and graduated from Mooreland High School in 1975 as Valedictorian of his class. Jimmie worked at various jobs in the Mooreland area. He was well known for his skill as a backhoe operator. Jimmie did all types of dirt work, he could make pads for housing and concrete using nothing more than his machine and eyes to determine the grade and level of just about anything.

He donated his time and skill as an operator to countless friends and businesses, just because that was the type of person Jimmie was. Always willing to help someone in need, or give his opinion of how it should be done.

Jimmie is survived by his daughter, Emily Morgan and husband Christopher; grandchildren, David Cooper; Paul Morgan; Reagan Morgan; Anne Morgan; Emma Morgan; and Adeline Morgan; brother, Wayne Lehman and wife Janice; several nieces and nephews; very close friends the Loomis family, the DePriest family, and Clark family; several other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Letha Lehman, brothers, Robert Lehman, Dean Lehman, Ronnie Lehman, and his sister Cleta Irwin.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that all who wish to donate please donate to the funeral home.
