Roberta Lancaster, 83 year old former Mooreland resident, died May 30, 2018 at the Anadarko Hospital. Private family services were held in the Mooreland Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Clara Roberta (Carman) Lancaster was born on July 8, 1934 in Buffalo, Oklahoma to Gerald Calvin and Clara Mae (Davis) Carman. She grew up in Mooreland and attended school in Buffalo and Mooreland. After graduation, Roberta attended Enid Business School. Roberta worked for Southwestern Bell, which later became AT&T in Enid, Woodward and Oklahoma City until her retirement.
Roberta was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed her Church, her friends and reading.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Lancaster; two brothers, Delbert Carman and wife Colleen, Duane Carman and wife Deloris; three grandchildren, Josh, Emily, and Jacob; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Kelly Lancaster and one brother Lowell Carman.
