Fort Supply – The funeral for Michael Lee Hunter, 31, will be 2 PM Saturday at Fort Supply Baptist Church. The Reverends Tim Mascarenas and Steve SpYres will officiate. Burial will be at Fort Supply Cemetery. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Services of Woodward.
He was born August 14, 1967, in Woodward to Frankie and Loretta Hunter and died Tuesday, June 22, 1999.
He was a member of Fort Supply Baptist Church and attended Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian. He lived in Fort Supply with common – law wife Tracie L. Gray – Hunter. He was employed by Western State Psychiatric Center for six years. On August 7, 1995, he married Cindy J. Sutherland at Fort Smith, Arkansas. They lived in Marble City. He was employed at Sallisaw Ford and was pursuing further training as a mechanic.
Surviving are his father, Frankie Hunter of Fort supply; three sons, Aaron Hunter, Anthony Hunter and Ashby Sutherland; two daughters, Amber Hunter and Leslie Sutherland; a sister, Kaylene Hunter of Heavener; a brother, Ronnie Hunter of Fort Supply; and his grandmother, Reta Hunter of Woodward.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandfather.
