April Michelle Belcher Coberley, 22-year-old Woodward resident, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel in Woodward with the Rev. Richard Henderson and the Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Mooreland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Billings Funeral Home in Woodward on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

April Michelle Belcher Coberley was born June 20, 1984 to Vickie Reeves Maddux and George Wayne Belcher Jr. in Sherman, Texas. She was born 3 1/2 months prematurely and struggled with medical problems her whole life, even though these struggles seemed endless she faced them head on. April always had a strong will and never gave up on herself. She attended kindergarten in Woodward, they then moved to Shattuck where she attended her 1st grade year. In September her mother was married to Duane Maddux and they resided in Mooreland. April continued school and graduated from Mooreland High School in 2003. April was chosen for Who's Who among American High School Students. She was a member of the Mooreland High School Choir. April enjoyed being with her family. She and her friends, Illana Bell and Michelle Barnard had such fun just hanging out with April listening to music, staying up all night with each other and just talking. April's hobbies included, being with friends and family, listening to music, dancing and reading. She loved riding horses with her mother and dad, Duane.

On Nov. 12, 2004 April was married to Jason Neal Coberley. April and Jason excitedly awaited the birth of their child, a little girl born Feb. 15, 2005, named Victoria Chyenne. April and Jason cherished Victoria. Victoria became ill and passed from this life on May 20, 2005. April was loved and will be missed dearly. She was very special to her Mother who was always with her in her struggles with severe asthma. April is free of pain and is now in Heaven's Kingdom with her daughter.

April is survived by her parents, Vickie and Duane Maddux of Mooreland; her father Wayne Belcher and wife Kimberly of Lady Lake, Fla.; one brother, Michael Belcher Maddux of Woodward; her husband Jason Coberley of Sharon; grandparents Glen and Frankie Newman of Allison, Texas; Carl and Deanna Nielsen of Woodward; Don and Sherry Maddux of Mooreland; great Grandmother Nina Maddux of Woodward; Aunts, Carolyn and Kurt Romona of Woodward; Aunt Marilyn Thomas; Uncle Rex Crawford; Uncle Michael Dean and wife Belinda Maddux of Owasso; Uncles, Garvin Reeves of Woodward; Lewis Newman of Briscoe, Texas; Barbie Newman of Wyoming; father-in-law, Neal and Darlene Coberley; brother-in-law, Todd and Sheri Coberley; grandmother, Henrietta Coberley; nephews, Mathew and Marshall Coberley; grandparents, Millie and Dutch Koch of Simms, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins all of Sulphur.

She was preceded in death by one daughter Victoria Chyenne, one great grandmother Hazel McDaniel, one grandfather, Raymon Caldwell and one great aunt Alva Lois Williams.

Victoria Cheyenne Coberley, three-month-old daughter of Jason and April Coberley, died Friday, May 20, 2005 in the Oklahoma City Childrens Hospital after a three-month fight with Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2005 in the Mooreland Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Holdeman officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her parents, Jason and April Coberley of Woodward; grandparents, Neal and Darlene Coberley of Sulphur; Duane and Vickie Maddux of Mooreland; Wayne and Kimberley Belcher of Florida; great-grandparents, Carl and Deanna Nielsen of Woodward; Donald and Sherry Maddux of Mooreland; Jr. and Velma Smith of Davis; Henrietta Coberley of Ardmore; great-great-grandparents, Nina Maddux of Woodward; Frankie and Glen Newman of Allison, Texas; aunts and uncles, Todd and Shari Coberley of Sulphur; Micheal Belcher-Maddux of Mooreland; Levi Maddux of Woodward; Christy-Lynn Belcher of Florida; Carolyn Nielsen of Woodward; a special great aunt, Alva Lois Williams of Ardmore.
