Greg Twyman, 56 year old Woodward resident, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 27, 2015 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Steenbergen officiating.
Gregory Thomas Twyman was born on October 24, 1958 in Leedey, Oklahoma; he was the son of Robert Thomas and Johnie June (Wiseman) Twyman. Greg spent his childhood in Leedey, he attended the Leedey schools and graduated from Leedey High School with the class of 1976. He was united in marriage to Pamela Franco in Woodward, Oklahoma at the First United Methodist Church. They made their home in Burns Flat. To this union three children were born, Nick, Nicole, and Trish. Greg attended and graduated from Burns Flat Vo-Tech Welding School. Greg was then employed as a welder by Fontaine Fabrication. In 1979 Greg returned to Woodward, where he was employed by Poole Well Service until his retirement in 2002. Greg enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a member of the Crown Heights Baptist Church.
Greg is survived by two daughters, Nicole Twyman of Woodward; Trish Twyman of Sharon; one son, Nick Twyman of Woodward; five grandchildren, Seth; Kameron; Kamille; Colton; and Dakota; other family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Johnie Twyman.
