Gary Lynn Shoemaker, 40 year old current Woodward resident, formerly of Fairview died Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 11, 2014 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Gene Karn officiating.
Gary Lynn Shoemaker, II was born on February 26, 1974 in Enid, Oklahoma to Gary Lynn and Genevieve (Kahn) Shoemaker. Gary spent his childhood in Fairview, Oklahoma where he attended school and graduated from Fairview High School. Gary worked for Southard, Hamm & Phillips, and Harper Sanitation. He moved to Woodward recently and was employed as a truck driver for J&R Transport.
Gary enjoyed fishing, concerts, and motorcycles. He loved his family, and looked forward to spending time with them and his friends during backyard barbecues.
He was an active member of A.B.A.T.E. Northwest 69. He attended the Assembly of God Church.
Gary is survived by his mother, Genevieve Merriman of Fairview; fiancé, Jennifer Collier; one son, Jason Collier; one daughter, Judy Collier all of Woodward; one nephew, Johnathan Owens of Fairview; other family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, and sister, Leah Shoemaker.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home.
