BRANDON HAMPTON "BIG B"

Funeral: 1:00 PM Thursday, March 5th, 2015 - Billings Funeral Home Chapel
Interment: Thursday, March 5th, 2015 - Fairmount Cemetery

Brandon Hampton, 35 year old Woodward resident, departed this world on Friday, February 27, 2015 in Perryton, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Theresa Rachal officiating. Interment will be in the Fairmont Cemetery in Follett, Texas.

John Brandon Hampton was born on December 22, 1979 in Hereford, Texas at Deaf Smith General Hospital. Brandon was born to John Bill Hampton and Donna Jean McKay. Brandon was given the name Bub, by his family all of his life and all of his friends knew him as “Big B”. He grew up in Hereford, Texas, Arnett, Oklahoma, and Follett, Texas. Donna and John were divorced in 1980. Donna, married Billy Don Cornett of Hereford, Texas in September of 1984. Donna and Billy Don raised Brandon all of his life. Billy Don was Daddy to Brandon until the day he passed away, and Brandon always considered his home to be in Follett, Texas.

He enjoyed running heavy equipment and being a Diesel Mechanic. He had a great and passionate love for music and dancing. He had a passion for children as they did for him. Brandon was very bright, cheerful and a wonderful person. He never met a stranger and had many, many friends and family that loved him very much. Brandon will forever be missed and loved. Brandon had a way of making you smile, even on your worse day, he was very funny and comical. Brandon had all kinds of sayings, the one he said the most was to his mom and the people he loved the most, I Love You to the moon and back, and that meant he loved you more than words could ever say.

Brandon leaves behind to mourn his loss, his wife of 13 years, Patricia Hampton of Shattuck; three children, Kyle Spencer Hampton of Ashland, Kansas, Austin Raye Hampton of Nevada, Missouri, Brianna Joyce Hampton of Texas; his mom, Donna McKay Cornett of Woodward; step-mom, Teresa McKay of Woodward; father, Billy Don Cornett of Follett, Texas; grandpa, Billy Cornett of Higgins, Texas; five brothers, Justin Michael Frazee of Canadian, Texas, Nicholas McKay of Woodward, Donnie Blaine Cornett of Follett, Texas, John Glenn Hampton of San Antonio, Texas, Steve Anthony of Tulsa, Ryan Sibbett of Corvallis, New Mexico; three sisters, Jennifer Donn Cornett of Follett, Texas, Wendy Marie Hampton of San Antonio, Texas, Tynessa Jo Layman of Santa Fe, New Mexico; other relatives and many friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by his father John Bill Hampton, grandparents, James and Veda McKay, Grandma Virgie Cornett and his Uncle Ronnie McKay.
