Roy Gene Branson

Roy G. Branson, 57 year old Woodward resident, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024 in the Fairlawn Cemetery, west of Fort Supply with Reverend Jim Evans officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Roy Gene Branson was born on March 23, 1967 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Cloyd and Shirley (Dodd) Branson. He grew up in Fort Supply and attended and graduated from Fort Supply High School in 1985. Roy worked as a Foreman in the Oilfield for many years until his retirement.

He loved fishing and watching football, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his fiance Katie Papay; son, Derek Branson and fiance Kayle Phillips; parents, Cloyd and Shirley Branson; two brothers: Darrel Branson and wife Jackie, Vick Branson and wife Rhonda; three grandchildren: Ashlei, Tayleigh, and Maxton; other relatives and friends.
