Jennie Marie Turner Woodmansee

August 22, 1937 ~ November 8, 2019

Marie Woodmansee, 82 year old Woodward resident, died Friday, November 8, 2019 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Todd White officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Jennie Marie (Turner) Woodmansee was born on August 22, 1937 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Roy Raymond and Ethel Marie (Stoner) Turner. She grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. Marie (Stoner) Turner. She grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. Marie was united in marriage to Robert Vince Woodmansee on July 10, 1959. They made their first home in Liberal, Kansas before moving back to Woodward. Marie worked as a waitress, a Girl Scout Cookie Chairman, Tregos Factory, and Westerns State in the food service and later as a Recreational Therapist until her retirement. She later worked at the Fargo Convenience Store.

Marie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodward. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, drawing, but most of all she loved being with her family. She loved family get togethers and spending time with her grandchildren

Marie is survived by three daughters: Kathy Collene Olson, Marie Elizabeth Hall, Jennie Jolean Allison and husband Tony; two sons: Adrian Roy Woodmansee and wife Heidi, Richard Joseph Woodmansee and wife Anne; eleven grandchildren: Brett Woodmansee, Tara Woodmansee, Melissa DeFever, Gary Quisenberry, Chandra Hall, Danny Allison, Toni Lynne Devine, Drue Woodmansee, Parker Brown, Hannah Brown, and Hayden Brown; 10 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ethel Turner, her husband Robert Vince Woodmansee, and a sister Carolyn Swallow.
