On February 21, 2021, Pamala Muree (Waggoner) Wilson, got her wings and went to walk with angels. She was 61 years old. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Pam was born on August 13, 1959, in Woodward. She lost her mom to cancer when she was just five years old. This loss impacted her entire life and made family her top priority. Family was everything. Pam had a strong role model in her grandmother, "Grandma Robbie," who raised her to be compassionate, strong and driven. Pam loved growing up in Woodward and was a proud Boomer cheerleader. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1977.
Pam married the love of her life, Jackie Wilson, on September 15th, 1977. They have two boys, Jeremy and Justin. They spent their evenings and weekends at the ball fields and Pam wouldn't have it any other way. She loved watching her boys excel in baseball and she was their biggest fan. Some of her favorite memories were at the ball park.
Pam was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She treasured her boys and especially cherished her role as Mimi. Granddaughters Justyce and Jocelyn were her pride and joy. She was so proud of the girls and treasured her time with them.
Pam was big hearted and compassionate. She loved people and she loved dogs. Her pets were family and she treated them like her kids, spoiling them and giving them the best life. Pam also had many cherished friendships that stretched for decades. Pam also had a creative flare and enjoyed decorating and crafting. In 1995, she opened Tee's Etc. in Enid. She owned and operated a successful business for twelve years. She always greeted customers with her bright smile.
Pam will be remembered for that warm smile, kind heart and genuine love for people. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Pam was preceded in death by parents Wynona Muree Waggoner and Harry Lloyd Waggoner; grandparents, Arthur and Anna Robinson; in laws, Jim and Mary Jo Wilson.
Pam is survived by her devoted husband, Jackie, of the home; two sons, Jeremy and wife, Lisa, of Woodward, Justin of Enid; two granddaughters; Justyce and Jocelyn; her brothers; Terry and wife Kathy, of Woodward, Tommy and wife Anna of Pritchett, Colorado, and her sister Angie (Waggoner) Newell and husband Kenny of Wylie, Texas.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Pam's honor to her favorite charity, Make A Wish, with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
