Connie Sue Pruitt Wells

Connie Wells, 41 year old Woodward resident passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2025 surrounded by family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 15, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Connie Sue (Pruitt) Wells was born January 3, 1984 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Eddie W. and Juania S. (Austin) Pruitt. Connie grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward High School. Connie was blessed with three children, Xavier, Christian and Trinity.

Connie worked as a cook for Woodward Skilled Nursing. She also was a waitress and cook at a diner in Texas. Connie enjoyed drawing, watching scary movies and reading books. She loved to go fishing and spend time with her children and family.

She was preceded in death by her mother Juania Pruitt, Grandma Nelly and Grandma Wanda.

Connie is survived by her father, Eddie Pruitt; two sons, Xavier Pettijohn and Christian Pettijohn; daughter, Trinity Kirchner; one brother, Robert Pruitt; two sisters, Rhonda Schipper and Amie Newell; one granddaughter, Liv Maelynn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
