Jimmie Allen Walker, ll

Jimmie Allen Walker II, 79 year old Woodward resident, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Woodward. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Jimmie Allen Walker II was born on November 12, 1945 to Jimmie Allen and Frances Ann (Kosakowski) Walker in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He grew up in Woodward and graduated as a Woodward Boomer from Woodward High School.

Jimmie was married to Kathy Kolb in Woodward, Oklahoma in 1963 and they lived in Woodward where Jimmie finished his schooling. To this union three children were born: Jimmie Walker III, Shelly, and Timmie. He went to work for Diamond Services in Woodward and considered his work crew as part of his family. Jimmie loved driving the big equipment and he worked for Diamond for 32 years before retiring.

Being outdoors was a great pastime for Jimmie. His hobbies included riding his motorcycle, boating and camping at the lake. Jimmie also attended First Assembly of God Church. Of course, his greatest enjoyment was time with his family, grandkids and great-grandkids.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother and father, sisters: Ivonna Sanders and Johnnie Hickey, son Timmie Allen Loch, daughters: Fancie Geane Hamilton, and brother-in-law, Calvin Cook.

He is survived by his sons: Jimmie Walker III and spouse Jean, Robert Walker; daughters: Shelly and Wendy Rivas-Driscoll, Melissa Cooper and Brooklyn Walker; grandchildren: Heidi Eyer and spouse Haley, Staci Drawbridge and spouse Dallas, Veronica Rivas, Colton Walker and spouse Keona, Arin Luster and spouse Derek, Destynee Walker, Shayla Boeckman and spouse Lewis, Jessika Henry and spouse Wyatt, 11 great-grandchildren, sister Fran Cook, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and aides at Woodward Skilled Nursing Center. Jimmie was loved by the staff and also the residents at the home. They would also like to thank the staff at ACG Hospice for caring for Jimmie the last year of his life.
