Mandy JoeAnn Townsend

February 16, 1975 ~ December 28, 2019

Mandy Townsend, 44 year old Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2020 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Victoria Estes and Brenda Wanger officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Miranda JoeAnn Townsend was born on February 16, 1975 in Joplin, Missouri. She was raised by her parents, Harvey and Nancy Bundens. Mandy grew up in Joplin, Missouri until her parents moved to Broken Arrow when she was 13 years of age. They lived in Muskogee and Tomball, Texas before moving to Woodward in 1991. Mandy was blessed with three sons, Joey Lynell, Glenn Zachariah, and Jacob Alexander. Her sons meant the world to her.

She worked at various places including, Sonic, William S. Key as a Correctional Officer, Boomer Carpet and Tile, and for the last five years as a loan officer with World Accepting Corporation.

Mandy was a member of the New Covenant Church. She enjoyed studying the bible, cooking, but her favorite pastime was being with her family, especially her sons. She loved having family dinners and she always took care of everyone. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her parents, Nancy Bundens and husband Harvey; sons: Joey Townsend, Zach Townsend, Jake Townsend; step-son, Mathew Lovelace; step-daughter Michelle Wingo; brothers: Charles Townsend, Eddie Holseth; sisters: Angie Townsend, Andrea Hill, and Holly Holseth; grandchildren: Madison Whorton, Taylor Whorton, Logan Wingo, and Carter Whorton: other relatives and friends.
