Funeral: 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 30th, 2016 - Billings Funeral Home Chapel

Interment: 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 30th, 2016 - Elmwood Cemetery Connie Kay Stephenson, 68 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at her home in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Connie Kay (Miller) Stephenson was born on August 31, 1947 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Ralph Eugene and Viola Marie (Lucas) Miller. She grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward schools, graduating with the class of 1965. Connie attended Central State University and the University of Oklahoma.

She was united in marriage to Alan Stephenson on October 2, 1993 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Woodward. Connie worked as a Bank Teller at the Bank of Woodward.

Connie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was an American History and World History buff who loved discussing politics. Connie also enjoyed crocheting, and her weekly bridge games with her friends. She mostly enjoyed the people in her life. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. She treated everyone she knew as family.

She is survived by her sons, Trei Smith; Eric Smith and wife Donna; one grandchild, Wyatt Eric Smith; mother-in-law, Betty Stephenson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Keith Stephenson and wife Susan; Linda Trissel and husband Marlin; other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Alan on January 23, 2014.
