Trent Lee Shuman

December 3, 1995 ~ June 19, 2020

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Trent Lee Shuman, 24, went to live with our Lord after being murdered. His date of death is between May 21, 2020 when he went missing and June 19, 2020 when his body was found. Trent was born on December 3, 1995 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Kirk Shuman and Laura Lane.

Trent was adventurous and daring from the time he could walk at nine months. He mostly lived in Buffalo through grade school and junior high. He lived in Enid and attended some high school there for awhile. Trent received his Welding Certificate from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He then worked for a Welder in Odessa, Texas. Trent moved back to Woodward and lived in Wisconsin for a while, too. Trent enjoyed doing tricks on his skateboard, riding his dirt bike and four wheeler. He also played sports including football and basketball. He enjoyed playing video games and being with friends. His sister says not to forget about him chasing girls. As he got older he had gotten interested in tattooing and he loved to rap.

Trents last few years were not the easiest. He lost four good friends. Three of them to murder and one in an auto accident. He kept on going and smiling and continued to enjoy being with family and close friends. There was something about Trent, you could never stay mad at him. Maybe it was his smile or his blue eyes. He would always be the light in your darkest hour. He would walk with you and pick you flowers because you āre having a bad day. He was the kind of person you could not forget. You could spend five minutes or five hours with him and he never left without saying I Love You.

He is survived by his only child Sophia; parents: Laura Lane and step-dad Richard, Kirk Shuman and step-mom Cristal; brother, Dalton and two sisters, Brooke and Dovie; niece Aria and nephew Azziah; grandparents: Dale and Peggy Stanphill, Pam Cook; great grandmas: Dovie Shuman and Nettie Buechlien; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa Tim Shuman, grandma Kathy Olmstead, great-grandfathers: Jack Shuman and Stanley Coburn, great-grandma Anita along with many other relatives.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
