Clifford Orlan Scott, Jr., 76 year old Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Clifford Orlan Scott, Jr. was born July 12, 1946 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Clifford Scott, Sr., and Betty Scott (Scharnhorst). He grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward schools. He married Sondra Lee Marston on October 15, 1965 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They lived in Wichita, Kansas where their daughter Angela was born. They then moved back to Woodward, Oklahoma where their children Jenny and Clifford M. were born. He married Shannon Sue Fothergill on February 14, 2002 in Woodward where they made their home. He worked in various positions in the oil and gas industry.
What brought him the most joy were his grandkids, great grandkids, fishing, watching OU football, coffee at the round table, and most of all, spending time with his family. He also enjoyed playing dominoes and darts, hunting, and making his own fishing lures.
Clifford is survived by his wife Shannon of the home; son Clifford M. Scott and wife Niki of El Reno, Oklahoma; daughters Angela Johnson and husband David of Norman, Oklahoma, and Jenny Belew and husband Marc of El Reno, Oklahoma; brothers Randy Scott and John Scott both of Woodward, Oklahoma; sisters Deanna Carrell of Dumas, Texas, and Linda Perrin of Woodward, Oklahoma; grandchildren Meagan Luellen and husband Marcus of Norman, Oklahoma; Sierra Sturgis of El Reno, Oklahoma; Emily De Hoog and husband Steven of Norman, Oklahoma; Irelyn Scott of El Reno, Oklahoma; great grandchildren Hunter Luellen, Collier Sturgis, Hudson Luellen, Adler Sturgis, Emma Luellen, and Theo De Hoog.
He was preceded in death by his parents Orlan and Betty Scott and brother George Scott.
