Dale Ruttman, 79 year old Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry White officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Dale Wayne Ruttman was born on January 18, 1942 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Harold Wayne and Jennilee May (Wyatt) Ruttman. Dale grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. He was united in marriage to LaVonda Lou Hosler on October 5, 1963 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They were blessed with three children, Lisa, Dustin, and Rustin.
He worked for Razien Metals before going to work for himself in construction. Dale enjoyed going to tractor shows, camping and fishing with his grandkids and family. He also enjoyed collecting farm toys and building copper toys.
He is survived by two sons : Dustin Ruttman and wife Brandie, Rustin Ruttman and wife Kayla; one daughter, Lisa Hayes; one brother, Wendel Ruttman and wife Twila; nine grandchildren Austin Ruttman and fiance Justyn Price, Justin Hayes and wife Shaylee, Michael Hayes and wife Katie and son Kai, Kasey Springer and husband Dawson, Kashtin Ruttman, Kaystin Ruttman, Kingstin Ruttman, Karen Ruttman, and Lasey Mcintosh; other relatives and many friends.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roger Ruttman, Leroy Tune, Bill Tune and son-in-law, Wayne Hayes.
