Ron Reynolds, 74 year old Woodward resident, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 in the Woodward Regional Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in the St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Joe Arledge presiding. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in the St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

Ronald Wayne Reynolds was born on November 21, 1940 in Boulder, Colorado to Howard Irvin and Agnes Irene (McCollum) Reynolds. Ron was raised in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School in 1959. Ron was inducted into the United States Air Force in April of 1961. He served his country and was honorably discharged in 1965.

He was united in marriage to Judith Anne Frost on August 21, 1961 at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in San Antonio, Texas before moving to Woodward in 1970. Ron worked at various places including his own car wash, Ron’s Robo Car Wash, Woodward County Assessor, Real Estate Sales, Cudd Pressure Control, Resort and Hotel Management, and the Woodward Public Schools as a Bus Driver. Of all the jobs he had he loved being a Bus Driver.

Ron was a member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church. He was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed OU football, camping, hunting, fishing, but most of all he loved being with his family and friends, especially his grandkids.

He is survived by two sons, Kyle Reynolds and wife Stacy of Woodward, Kendall Reynolds of Woodward; one daughter, Kim Spray and husband Lonny of Woodward; one sister, Bonnie Cammerer and husband Lyle of Napa, California; grandchildren, Jessica and Josh Nielsen, Cole, Emilie, Evan, Andrew, Abigail, Jessica Kay, Jeff; great-grandchildren, Callen, Chase, Gabe, and Sam; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Judy, one brother Kenneth Reynolds and his daughter Kristi Reynolds.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Senior Citizens Center or Panhandle Nutrition with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
