Marlene Randall, 67 year old Woodward resident, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 in Woodward. Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022 at the Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Marlene Kay Randall was born on June 15, 1954 in Oberlin, Kansas to Leroy Marvin and Rachael Faye (Linden) Randall. Marlene grew up in California and graduated from high school there. Marlene worked for a national inventory loss control firm before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado. She worked for Walgreens in their management team before moving to Woodward, Oklahoma in the early 1980's. Marlene worked for EZ Pickens and later opened her sandwich shop called Marlenes Sandwich Shop. After several years she went back into retail working for Walmart, working there until her retirement in 2019.
She is survived by one brother, Larry Randall and wife Nancy of Phillipsburg, Kansas; nephews, Jason Randall and wife Charity of Kensington, Kansas, Don Bradley and wife Lori of Woodward; nieces, Jamie Peters and husband Allan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jodie Randall of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother-in-law, Milton Bradley of Woodward; her best friend, Debby Privett of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; God-children, Joseph Privett of Lufkin, Texas, Ashley Kostura of Bethany, Oklahoma; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Rachael Randall, her sister Mary Bradley and her boyfriend Vernon Snow.
