Jerry Lynn "Babe" Pollard, 60 year old former Woodward resident, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Fairview, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Woodward Church of the Nazarene with Gene Karn officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.
Jerry "Babe" Pollard was born on August 20, 1961 to GA and Shirley (Eaves) Pollard in Oakdale, Louisiana. He grew up in Pitkin, Louisiana and attended Pitkin High School. He has worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. He married Linda (Miller) Pollard on June 2, 1995. They made their first home in Woodward and are currently living in El Reno.
Jerry enjoyed traveling, going on trips with his wife, and cooking. What brought him the most joy were his grandchildren Brayson and McKena. He always loved sharing stories of them every time he met someone, whether it was at work or traveling and he always looked forward to their visits. He loved spending time with Linda, his wife of 27 years.
He is survived by his wife Linda Pollard; sons Dusty Pollard and wife Christy, Justin Pollard and wife Kadie; bonus daughter and daughters: Kylie Broadbent and husband Shane, Jessica Pollard, Sarah Pollard, and Virginia Pollard; brothers Donnie Pollard and wife Karen, George Pollard and wife Edna; brother-in-law Randy Miller; sister-in-law Yvonne Pollard; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and tons of other friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents GA and Shirley Pollard, three sisters, Peggy Jimenez, Jeanett Taylor, and Melody Miller, two brothers Roy Pollard, and infant brother Bryant Lee Pollard.
