Brodie Patrick, 39 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2025 at the 1000 Hills Ranch Church. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Jacob Brodie Patrick was born on August 21, 1985 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Michael and Melody (Collins) Patrick. Brodie grew up in Ashland, Kansas and graduated from Ashland High School. He attended UTI and learned to become a Auto Body Technician. He went to work in the oil and gas industry and was currently working as a Senior Construction Manager. Brodie was also a volunteer Firefighter for a number of years.
He was united in marriage to Kelly Birkbeck on April 13, 2024 at Croton Creek in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. They made their home in Mooreland and have lived there since that time. Brodie enjoyed scuba diving, shooting, cooking, and smoking food. He always enjoyed driving the back roads checking cows. He loved spending time with Kelly, the kids, his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Kelly Patrick of the home; children: Westen Birkbeck, Wrenley Carlson, and Walker Carlson; his parents: Mike and Melody Patrick; one sister, Aubrey Pruyser and husband Jesse; sister-in-law Meggan Patrick; nieces and nephew: Taylen Patrick, Shelby Patrick, Avery Pruyser, Jill Pruyser, and Kade Wilcoxson; other relatives and many friends.
Brodie was preceded in death by his brother Caleb Patrick, grandparents: James E. Patrick, Jolene Oneil, and John and Maxine Collins.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Washita Cowboy Fellowship, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, 1000 Hills Ranch, or the Battling with Brodie Fund, with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
Please join us for a Benefit Dinner for the family of Brodie on January 25, 2025 at the 1000 Hills Ranch Church in Woodward from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. They will be serving chili, cornbread, side salad, and cinnamon rolls. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10/person. There will be a silent auction, bake sale, and door prize. We hope you will join us to support the Patrick family in this tragic time..
