Funeral: 11:00 AM Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 - Woodward Church of Christ

Interment: Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 - Elmwood Cemetery

Dorice Parker, 65 year old former Woodward resident and current Rock Springs, Wyoming resident, died Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Rock Springs. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Woodward Church of Christ with James Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Bertha Dorice (Martin) Parker was born on January 8, 1949 in Bakersfield, California to William Dolvis and Bertha Louise (Gretlein) Martin. Dorice attended Perryton High School in Perryton, Texas. She was united in marriage to Dwight Parker on April 3, 1965. They were blessed with four boys, one of which died in infancy. Dorice and Dwight started a drilling business called 3D Drilling in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Dorice is survived by three sons, Dwayne Parker and wife Cheri; Robert Parker and wife Jamie all of Rock Springs, WY; Clay Parker and Bobbi Jo Morris of Cheyenne, WY; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Martin and wife Leann; Pete Martin and wife Lori all of Vernal, Utah; one sister, Donna Ward New Berry, CA; two half -sisters, Carol Martin of Shattuck; Debbie Stafford of Seiling; one half-brother, Tommy Martin and wife Abby of Vici; four brothers-in-law, Eddie Parker and wife Reva; Bennie Parker; Jerry Parker and wife Carol all of Woodward; Larry Parker of Rock Springs, WY; one sister-in-law, Linda Case of Oklahoma City; other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Cliff, and one sister, Diana Sullivan.
