Betty Nosler, 82 year old Woodward resident, died Friday, March 8, 2019 in Woodward. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Elmwood Cemetery.
Betty Joe Ann (Warriner) Nosler was born on March 14, 1936 in Woodward, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Arthur James and Dorothy Gertrude (McDaniel) Warriner. Betty was reared in Woodward, and attended Woodward schools. She was united in marriage to Billy Max Nosler on June 6, 1953 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Fort Benning, Georgia. They were blessed with four children, Kavinna, Katrinna, Stephen, and; Billy. Throughout her younger years Betty and her family lived in several states including; Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Colorado before returning home to Woodward in 1980. Betty was mainly a stay at home mom, and because of that she was very talented at many things.
She enjoyed her family especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She also enjoyed crocheting, working with her plants and flowers. Betty was an avid Oklahoma State football fan, and had no trouble telling people who her favorite team was.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Katrinna Duke; two sons, Stephen Nosler; and Billy Nosler and wife Nancy; six grandchildren, Samantha Mitchell; Becca Rathgeber and husband Tyler; Billy Nosler and wife Norina; April Nosler; Dana Norris and husband Paul; Tiffany Lyon and husband Michael; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy Maxine Tadlock and husband Robby; brothers, Arthur Warriner and wife Margery; Lee Roy Warriner and wife Tony; very special four legged companion Shadow; other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-father, Ralph Richard; two brothers, John D. Warriner; and Charles (Buster) Warriner; one daughter, Kavinna Jo Anderson.
