Barbara Norton, 79 year old Woodward resident, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 in Vici. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Daniel Rickman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Barbara Ann (Bryan) Norton was born on September 26, 1945 in Sabina, Ohio to Clifford Bryan and Vesper Neoma (Woodring) Young. Barbara grew up in Spickard, Missouri and graduated from Spickard High School. She later received her LPN degree and worked as a Nurse for many years. Barbara also worked as an EMT for Woodward County.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Barbara also enjoyed sewing and attending basketball games. She was a long time volunteer at the Woodward Hospital.
She is survived by one son David Norton of Woodward; one daughter Susan Goodwin and husband Marvin of Woodward; one brother Terry Bryan and wife Ruby; one sister Patsy Holt; two grandchildren: Alisha Boulware, Amy Goodwin; three great-grandchildren: Ryan Boulware, Kash Boulware, and Mason Boulware: other relatives and many friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dearn and a grandson Dustin.
