Carol Morris, 85 year old Woodward resident, died Friday, July 6, 2018 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Shannon Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Carol Maneva (McGowan) Morris was born June 5, 1933 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Frank and Geneva (Satterwhite) McGowan. A loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Geneva McGowan, a daughter, Theresa Jones, brother Donald McGowan, granddaughter LeAnne Davenport, and step-son Steve.
Carol is survived by her husband Donald Morris of Woodward; son Cory Jones; daughter Brenda Funderburk; step-daughters: Julia Long and Laura Kuligowska; granddaughter Trista Jones; grandsons: Ryan Causee, Darren Causee; granddaughters, Alexa, Ambra, April, Amy, several great-grandchildren; one sister Mayme "Ruth" Burton; nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
